DESCRIPTION:The BIA|Bay Area Education Committee presents the second event in the four part series\, Regional Innovation Trends: How the Bay Area is Changing Post Pandemic. We are excited to announce the panelists for this event:\n			\n		\n		\n			\n			\n			\n			 \n			\n\n			Garrett Hinds\n\n			Vice President of Architecture and Design\n\n			Trumark Homes\n\n			\n\n			At Trumark Homes\, Garrett is responsible for community and neighborhood planning\, placemaking\, home programming\, floor plans\, elevations\, park design\, landscape architecture\, and model complex and interior design coordination.  Recent notable master plan communities include Wallis Ranch (Dublin)\, The Collective (Manteca)\, Glass Bay and Compass Bay (Newark) and Rancho Miramonte (Chino).  Recent infill neighborhoods include Harmony (Sunnyvale\, CA)\, SP78 (San Jose) and Perch (Dublin).  Prior to joining Trumark in 2000\, Garrett spent over 10 years with various design and planning groups including Disney Imagineering\, EDAW and Dahlin Group.\n\n			 \n		\n		\n			\n			\n			\n			 \n			\n\n			Don Ruthroff\, AIA\n\n			Principal\n\n			DAHLIN Group Architecture | Planning\n\n			\n\n			As a Principal and leader of the firm?s neighborhood residential sector\, Don works with a mix of public and private homebuilder clients\, as well as landowners and developers. His wide range of experience extends from production residential communities in the United States and Mainland China to neighborhood convenience centers in California. In his over 20 years at DAHLIN\, he has worked in densities ranging up to 40 du/ac with his primary area of focus in the western United States. With over 30 years of experience and training in both architecture and structural engineering\, Don's work benefits from his well-rounded breadth of expertise. Both Don?s experience and excellent eye for design have made him a distinguished and sought-after industry leader. He is frequently invited to speak at industry conferences and to judge in industry award programs.\n\n			 \n		\n		\n			\n			\n			\n			 \n			\n\n			Deana Vidal\n\n			Manager of Design Trends\n\n			New Home Trends Institute\n\n			John Burns Real Estate Consulting\n\n			\n\n			Deana has a rich history of research\, development\, and consumer insights and utilizes her architecture education and experience to bring innovative solutions to the forefront of home design. She has worked with small businesses and startups around the world\, developing consumer profiles and research strategies to understand consumer needs better.\n\n			 \n\n			Deana was the 2020 Associate of the Year for BIA Bay Area and is currently serving as the founder and Chair of the BIA Bay Area Young Professionals. She also served on the BIA Board of Directors and Education committee and was the 2020 PWB Communication Chairs.
